Mikayla is an MSK sonographer with a background in vascular ultrasound and a particular interest in musculoskeletal imaging.

Background
Mikayla completed a Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Wollongong in 2015. She then completed a Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography at the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine with a specialty of vascular ultrasound in 2018. She worked in private practice performing arterial and venous scans for six years for a vascular specialist.
In 2022, Mikayla completed a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound at the Queensland University of Technology and commenced working at Joint Vision Orthopaedics, with an interest in musculoskeletal sonography.
Outside of work Mikayla enjoys going on hikes, paddleboarding and playing with her two dogs.
