Joint Vision's Moving Forward initiative recognises people whose determination, kindness and care for others make a difference across the Illawarra.
The initiative also introduces the community to the work of the Joint Vision Orthopaedic Research Institute (JVORI) and its musculoskeletal research.
The 2025 invitation
In November 2025, Joint Vision invited nominations for Illawarra Champions. A small number of nominees were invited as guests of JVORI to the Illawarra Hawks game on 4 December 2025.
The invitation recognised community contributions and personal character. That event has now passed.
